Psalm 33:6

“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth.”

So what God has spoken has resulted in the creation of the world. In Genesis we can recount creation as coming into existence by God’s spoken Word when He said, “Let there be light”.  When He created mankind ( male and female ) our existence came about first as His spoken Word when He said,“ Let us make mankind in our image.” So first it was spoken then it materialized. God thought about all creation as He hovered over the waters of darkness and brought form to it all by speaking it forth. (Genesis 1:1-31)
Yet, what He has spoken has also been written down for us to see, know and act upon.

We especially who have come to faith in this present time need to know the Word of God. God made sure His Word serves as examples and warnings to us who are living at the end of the ages.  (1 Corinthians 10:11).

God has made it so that when we can speak it, we believe it. That’s why scripture indicates salvation comes by first hearing the message and after believing it we desire to speak it. As soon as we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, believing in our heart concerning His death and resurrection, we are saved.
(Luke 23:39-43)

“But what does it say? ‘The Word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart.” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:8-10

So how was God’s Word manifested? First it was spoken by God, written by God, and then begotten by the Holy Spirit as the Living Word in the life of Jesus Christ. Also, it is manifested by mankind as it is spoken, written and acted upon by the indwelling presence of God’s Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1, Exodus 31:18), (Psalm 2:7, Hebrews 5:5, John 3:16)

If God spoke it, then we need to hear it, believe it and confess it as the manifestation of our faith, that is, meaning the gospel concerning Jesus Christ.

If we are able to confess our faith in Jesus Christ it will also manifest itself in our works.
I believe, what we consistently say, and do will manifest whether or not we know Jesus, personally, or just know about Him. What do you think? Would love to hear from you. Doula Faith
